Adamstown Books opening at Lancaster Theological Seminary

Adamstown Books, a used and antiquarian bookseller, will be opening a retail location in the Campus Center at the Lancaster Theological Seminary, 555 W. James St. in Lancaster.ER20141112_CCocAdamstownBooks1

A grand opening sale will occur Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale continues the following week when regular store hours of Wednesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. commence. Parking is available in the West Lot of the Seminary as well as on College Avenue.

Specialty areas the store will stock include religion, the American Civil War, Pennsylvania history, art, and the Victorian period. Additional categories include vintage children’s, literature, poetry, foreign language titles, genealogy, science, and bargain books. In addition to books, artwork and ephemera (postcards and vintage magazines) will be sold.

Adamstown Books also sells Civil and Revolutionary War-related books at the German Trading Post in Adamstown and at Mother Tucker’s Antiques in Ephrata.
