East Cocalico Police report incidents

DUI: The East Cocalico Police Department reported the following:

BURGLARY: A chainsaw, books, cash, and various other items were reported to have been taken from a residence in the first block of North Third Street in Denver Borough sometime prior to Sept. 18.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: Hiram Negron, 35, Ephrata, faces public drunkenness charges after he was observed in an intoxicated state in the parking lot of the Sunoco A-Plus in the 1400 block of North Reading Road in East Cocalico Township at 5 a.m. Sept. 19. He will be sent a summons on the charges.

UNDERAGE DRINKING: Four Denver area juveniles, all 17 years of age, face underage drinking charges after they attended an event at Cocalico High School in an intoxicated condition Sept. 19.

DUI: Police observed Lucas K. Millhouse, 24, Ephrata, driving his vehicle in an erratic manner at 12:49 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 1500 block of North Reading Road in East Cocalico Township. Millhouse displayed signs of intoxication and failed field coordination tests. Millhouse was taken into custody and to the hospital, where he consented to a blood draw. Subsequent testing indicated Millhouse’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.101 percent. Millhouse will be sent a summons to appear in front of District Judge Nancy Hamill.
