The Reinholds VFW Post No. 6759 worked in tandem with The Stampin’ Up Club-Reinholds and the Cocalico School District in supporting the Stockings for Soldiers program for Christmas 2014.

Amanda Marshall, an employee at the Reinholds VFW, coordinated the collection drive for the program.

Stampin’ Up members created handmade cards for the soldiers to send back to their families while Cocalico elementary students made cards with personal messages for the troops. Reinholds VFW social and lifetime members donated large amounts of food and toiletries while many local businesses also contributed to the initiative.

Volunteers brought all the items to Blue Ridge Communications (the collection center) prior to Thanksgiving.
