A vehicle being driven by Kania Jackson, 34,  Harrisburg, slid through the stop sign on Indiantown Road at Schoeneck Road as she attempted to stop on wet roads. A vehicle driven by Carolyn Hildebrand, 49, Ephrata, was driving on Schoeneck Road when Jackson slid into the intersection and they collided.  Hildebrand’s vehicle appears to have gone off the right side of the road and struck a vehicle stopped at the other stop sign at the intersection. The third vehicle was driven by Lynwood Hassler, 67, of Denver. All three vehicles had to be towed.  Jackson and Hassler’s wife, who was a passenger, were taken to Ephrata Hospital for treatment of injuries. Jackson will be cited with driving vehicles at safe speeds.  Hildebrand, the West Cocalico Township manager, was on her way to work when the crash occurred.
