Adamstown Veterinary Hospital is holding a food drive through the month of January.

Adamstown Veterinary Hospital is holding a food drive from now until the end of January.

The food drive benefits the Central PA Food Bank. Adamstown Veterinary Hospital will be collecting items rich in protein like canned meats, meals in a can, beef stew, chili, beans, pasta, peanut butter and canned fruits and vegetables. Please try to avoid products packed in glass containers.

Items can be dropped off at Adamstown Veterinary Hospital during regular hours: Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.; Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Adamstown Veterinary Hospital also accept donations year-round for the Hillside SPCA in Pottsville, to benefit its four-legged friends.
