Historic Old Zion Church, Brickerville, will host its annual carol sing Saturday, Dec. 9. There are two services, at 2 and 4:30 p.m.

Candles and the gorgeous kerosene chandelier will light the church; lovely greenery decorations will be hung, and the music of the season will fill the building.

Modern barbershop quartet Break From Blue Collar will provide musical entertainment and will lead singing the beloved holiday carols.

There is no electricity in the building. It is important to dress warmly and to bring a flashlight to read the song sheets and to guide you along the pathways.

The service is free, but tickets are required, as space is limited. Mail the completed ticket request form and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: David Hoffman 1263 Ash Lane Lebanon, PA 17042.

The form and instructions, along with directions to the church, may be found at oldzionchurch.org/events.

For safety reasons, ice or snow on the ground on Dec. 9 will result in a cancellation.
