Celebrate Christmas at the Cloister
The simple holiday decorations, a sip of hot cider, and the sounds of seasonal music fill the air; these are the memories of Christmas at the Cloister one of the most beloved programs at this historic site.
Since 1966 the Ephrata Cloister Associates, the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, and the Ephrata-Akron Area Churches have offered this program as a start to the holiday season.
The program, held in the historic meetinghouse, will be presented on Dec. 12 and 13 at 6:30 and 8 p.m. each evening. The Cloister is located at 632 W. Main St., Ephrata. Seating is limited and advanced tickets are required.
The cost is $6 per person. Tickets are available in The Museum Store at Ephrata Cloister (733-2592) or by mail. Mail requests for tickets must include a first and second choice of program day and time, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, a daytime contact phone number and $6 for each ticket.
Checks can be mailed and made payable to: Ephrata Cloister Associates, Christmas at the Cloister Tickets, 632 W. Main St., Ephrata, PA 17522. Requests will be filled in the order they are received.
Additional information is available by calling the Ephrata Cloister at 733-6600.
