Civil War Days at Landis Valley

Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum will host Civil War Days on July 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Experience the civilian impact on the Civil War at this interactive event. As you talk to townspeople and demonstrators about how they fared during the war, make way for cavalry and soldiers. Then, take a horse-drawn wagon ride around the site and head to the Yellow Barn, and learn what civilians like you could do for the war effort.

Along the way, meet politicians (including President Abraham Lincoln), generals, and soldiers. Kids will participate in musket drills, play games, and enjoy activities centered around life during the Civil War. Bring a picnic lunch or purchase snacks and drinks at the Landis Valley Museum Store.

Admission costs $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $8 for ages three through 11. The event is free for Free for Landis Valley Associates Members. tickets can be ordered in advance at
