Iron Butterfly coming to Lancaster

Iron Butterfly is an American psychedelic rock and blues band best known for the 1968 hit “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida,” providing a dramatic sound that led the way towards the development of hard rock music.
The band will appear as the feature act at Lancaster’s Roots & Blues Festival next month.
The band’s seminal 1968 album In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is among the world’s 40 best-selling albums of all-time. The recent lineup features original member Mike Pinera guitar and vocals, 1969 to 2015. Pinera has organized and led the various reunions throughout the years. He also wrote, sang and recorded the classic hit “Ride Captain Ride” with Blues Image and was a featured member of the Alice Cooper Band.
Iron Butterfly will hit the stage at the Marion Convention Center on Feb. 7 from 4 to 5:15 p.m. VIP passes are available for the entire event, which include a meet and greet with the band.
