Movie screening will benefit injured children

On Saturday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m., Penn Cinema will be hosting a fundraiser screening of “The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature.”

One hundred percent of the proceeds will support the continued recovery and associated expenses of Charlie and Ruby Warfel, who were viciously attacked by a dog in Lancaster City on June 19. Their full story can be found at gofundme.com/charlieandruby.

A bake sale and Chinese auction will occur in the lobby before the movie. Tickets are available online or at the door. To purchase tickets in advance, visit bit.ly/2uHBuLr.

Penn Cinema is also accepting in-kind donations from area businesses who would like to support the Chinese auction. Penn Cinema can be reached at lititz@penncinema.com or 626-7720.
