Aima and Earl Trego Tregos celebrate 70 years

Earl H. and Aima (Griffith) Trego celebrated their 70th anniversary on Oct. 26. The couple was married on Oct. 26, 1941 at Akron United Zion Church by Rev. Wesley P. Martin.

After serving in the third infantry, Earl was employed by Jacob Wise Jr. as a plasterer for 25 years. He also was employed by Manheim Auto Auction for 18 years.

Alma was employed by Stanley Home Products for 30 years and is presently a volunteer for the Ephrata Community Hospital and the Re-Uzit Shop in Ephrata.

They are the parents of Darlene Weaver, Florida; Carolene, wife of Ken Stauffer, Lititz; Lonnie, husband of Marilyn Trego, Newmanstown; and Connie, wife of Dennis Fink.

Additionally, Earl and Aima have 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four on the way.
