Workers began wrapping up the Whistle Stop Plaza project in front of the train station in downtown Ephrata earlier this week. Above, a worker adds the finishing touches to an information kiosk that will be located near the entrance of the plaza. A new courtyard, complete with a platform/stage covered by a pergola, was created as the main part of the project. Other work included: relocating the driveway, plus the addition of new lighting and landscaping and two handicapped parking spaces. Whistle Stop Plaza is being funded through grants received from PennDOT. (Photo by Preston Whitcraft)
