Aaron Glenn Bowman, 65, drywall finisher, enjoyed fishing, hunting, line dancing and antiquing

Aaron Glenn Bowman, 65, of Ephrata, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

He was born in Bowmansville to the late Aaron and Arlene (Leisey) Bowman, and was the husband of Carlyn (Gross) Bowman, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

He had been a member of New Beginnings Church in Ephrata. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, line dancing, antiquing, and walking. Glenn had worked as a drywall finisher for many years prior to retiring.

In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by two daughters: Misty Bowman of Savannah, Ga.; and Jessica Morris of Philadelphia; two grandchildren: Katie Anne and Joanna Joy Bowman; and a brother: Garry Bowman of Fivepointville.

He was preceded in death by a son: Bryan Bowman; and two brothers: Nevin and Ronald Bowman.

A viewing will be held on Friday, Aug. 18, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Joe Hyatt officiating. Interment will take place in the Denver Union Cemetery.
