Andrew G. Kurtz, 46, EARS worker, enjoyed going to Disney World, PSU football fan

Andrew G. Kurtz, 46, formerly of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, in Jupiter, Fla.

Born in Reading on May 10, 1971, he was the son of A. Gary Kurtz and the late Elaine M. (Fegely) Kurtz.

Andrew was a 1991 graduate of The Vanguard School in Malvern. He worked with Ephrata Area Rehab Services and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

He enjoyed spending time with family, vacations to Disney World, watching game shows, sports trivia, and Penn State football. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his father, Andrew is survived by his sister: Kathleen Frank, wife of Daniel Frank, of Jupiter, Fla.; and two nephews: Dane and Braden Ventura.

A memorial service was held June 26 at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
