Angel Manuel Serrano, 36, Walmart maintenance worker, built gaming computers, cherished his family

Angel Manuel Serrano, 36, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, in Dekalb County, Ga.

He was born in Bronx, N.Y., to Angel Manuel and Iris Noelia (Rosario) Serrano, and was the husband of Gwendolyn A. Serrano, with whom he shared 11 years of marriage.

Angel worked in maintenance for Walmart for over 16 years. He also took pride in building gaming computers and had Microsoft and A+ certifications.

He cherished his family and will be remembered for his huge smile and contagious laugh.

In addition to his wife and parents, Angel is survived by three stepchildren: Blake, Kayley and Chase McLain; and two brothers: Benjamin Rodriguez and Christopher Marquez.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Edward Rodriguez.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
