Anna Elizabeth Fluck, 96, cook at Cloister Restaurant, attended Church of the Nazarene

Anna Elizabeth Fluck, 96, of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Spruce Manor, Reading.

She was born in Sellersville, Bucks County, on May 29, 1920, to the late William and Mary (Smith) Conley, and was the wife of the late Clarence Fluck, who passed away April 2, 2005.

She attended Silverdale Brethren in Christ Church in Bucks County, before moving to Lancaster County, where she attended Bethel Springs Brethren in Christ Church, and later became a member of the Ephrata Church of the Nazarene.

Anna worked in various restaurants in her early years, then as a cook for 17 years at Cloister Restaurant. She also worked in various factories and provided child care in her home in Perkasie, Bucks County. Anna loved reading and working outside, especially in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed her morning and evening devotions with God.

Anna is survived by two daughters: Sharon Elizabeth Fluck of Ephrata; Lucy C., wife of Nelson R. Blessing, of Red Lion; two grandchildren: Shawn Eugene Wanner; Jody, wife of Mark Greiner; and a brother: John B. Conley of Buffalo, N.Y.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Ann Fluck; two brothers: William Jr. and Joseph Conley; and two sisters: Mary Huff and Edith Mae Pfamatter.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
