Anna (Kapusta) Czapluk, 93, active in Union of Polish Women in America, enjoyed knitting, crochet

Anna Czapluk, 93, formerly of Denver and Philadelphia, died Aug. 12, 2017, in Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon, where she resided since July 2011.

Born in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Gabriel and Laura (Pawlowski) Kapusta, her husband, Anthony Czapluk, died in June of 1985.

A member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Philadelphia, Anna was active in the Union of Polish Women in America. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting.

Surviving is her daughter: Cynthia C., wife of David D. Speace, Narvon; and granddaughter: Ellen Speace, Drexel Hill.

A sister, Josephine Petraits, predeceased her.

A viewing was held from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, on Aug. 16, with a Christian prayer service. Final commendation and farewell was in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery, Langhorne.
