Annie W. Burkholder, 87, Ephrata Twp. native, homemaker, attended Martins Mennonite Church

Annie W. Burkholder, 87, of Robesonia, passed away of natural causes Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016.

She was the wife of the late Noah Z. Burkholder, who passed away June 18, 2011. She was born in Ephrata Township on April 11, 1928, a daughter of the late Noah Z. and Lizzie M. Weaver Nolt.

Annie was a homemaker and member of the Martins Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.

Surviving are children: Lucille N., wife of Glenn M. High, of Robesonia, with whom she resided; Elizabeth N., wife of Marvin Z. Weaver, of Lititz; Aaron N., husband of Edith H. Burkholder, of Myerstown; Noah N., husband of Martha S. Burkholder, of New Holland; Anna, wife of Lester M. High, of Denver; 24 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; brothers: Jonas W. Nolt of Newville; Menno W. Nolt of Stevens; sisters: Martha, wife of Irvin Zimmerman, of Ephrata; Frances W., wife of Paul R. Martin, of Narvon; sister-in-law: Lydia W. Nolt of Fleetwood.

She was preceded in death by an infant son; a grandson: Stephen H. Burkholder; an infant grandson; two great-grandsons; sisters: Lizzie W. Nolt, Katie W. Hurst, and Emma W. Nolt; brothers: Clayton W. Nolt and Jacob W. Nolt.

Services were held Feb. 10 at Fairview Mennonite Church, Myerstown.
