Arnold B. Kindler, 89, Army Air Corps vet, Warwick School District custodian, Grace Point Church member
Arnold B. Kindler, 89, of Manheim, formerly of Clifton, N.J., went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster.
Arnold was born to Gustav and Natalie Kindler on Feb. 16, 1928. He married Edith C. Swope on May 8, 1954, in Selinsgrove.
He worked as a custodian for Warwick School District and Grandview Heights Christian Academy for many years. Arnold was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was deeply involved in Grace Point Ephrata Church of the Nazarene.
He is preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings.
Arnold is survived by his wife: Edith; and two children: Kenneth E., husband of Nancy M. Kindler; and the Rev. Karen Troxler, wife of the Rev. David Troxler, of Duxbury, Mass. Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 13 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, Ephrata. The Rev. Dr. B.W. Hambrick, Pastor Rocky Hambrick, Pastor Kenneth Higginbotham, and Pastor Jim Lucas officiated at the service.
