Arthur L. Bachman, 89, born in Lititz, WWII Navy vet, worked as mechanic at Fry Pontiac

Arthur L. Bachman, 89, of Denver, formerly of Lititz, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Denver Health and Rehab.

Arthur was a son of the late Arthur W. and Carrie (Ludwig) Bachman and husband of the late Kathryn L. Bachman, who passed away July 6, 2012.

Born in Lititz, Arthur was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran and worked as an Auto Mechanic. He was first employed by the former Elton Reed Garage and most recently the former Fry Pontiac, both of Lititz, PA.

Arthur is survived by one son: M. Brian Bachman, husband of Roseanne (Double) Bachman of Lititz; one daughter: Carol A., wife of Donald Wenzel of Stevens; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 24 at Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, with Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Place of interment was St. John?s Cemetery, Brickerville.
