Calvin Good, 87, WWII vet, Allen G. Musser worker

Calvin B. Good, 87, of New Holland, formerly of Bowmansville, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at Garden Spot Village.

Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Harvey H. and Susie (Burkhart) Good.

Calvin graduated from Terre Hill High School and then served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in England, France and Trinidad. He was employed for many years at the former Allen G. Musser Appliance Store, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

Surviving are eight siblings: Harvey B. Good, of Mohnton; Elizabeth, wife of Harvey Mensinger, of Avon Park, Fla.; Gertrude, wife of C. Marlin Hess, of Lititz; Andrew, husband of Clara Good, of Reamstown; Sarah, wife of Gordon Landis, of East Petersburg; Willis, husband of Ellen Good, of Stevens; James B. Good, of Mohnton; and Charles, husband of Linda Good, of Reading.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Gladys Horst; and three brothers: Marvin B., David B. and Walter B. Good.

A private service will be held at Groff-High Funeral Home with interment in Memory Gardens. Kindly omit flowers.
