Catherine Stauffer, 96, schoolteacher, member of Centerville Mennonite Church
Catherine Stauffer, 96, of 1238 Division Hwy., Ephrata, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
Born in West Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Eli S. and Mary (Brubacher) Stauffer.
Catherine last served as a schoolteacher and was a member of Centerville Mennonite Church.
Surviving are two siblings: Eli, married to Ruth Stauffer, Narvon; and Mary married to Horace Stauffer, Ephrata; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings: Emma Zimmerman; Lydia Bowman; Susie, married to Norman Stauffer; Daniel Stauffer; Aaron Stauffer; Amos Stauffer; and Phares Stauffer.
Services were held March 26 at Centerville Mennonite Church, with Bishop Harold Good, Bishop Wilmer Weaver, Wilmer Burkholder, Brenden Weaver and Mervin Burkholder officiating. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
