Chester Musser, 85, former Ephrata resident, auto mechanic, kind and compassionate

Chester G. Musser, 85, passed away on Nov. 20, 2017, in Dade City, Fla.

Chester is survived by his daughters: Beverly and Sandra; his granddaughters: Stephani and Carina; and his great-grandchildren: Aidan and Neala.

His is preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy.

Chester was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Lancaster, to parents Jacob and Anna Mary Musser.

Chester and Dorothy were married in Ephrata, in 1951 and lived there for several years, moving to Lebanon and then returning to care for her parents. Later, he worked as an auto mechanic in Dade City, Fla., where he retired in 1999.

Chester was an independent, active, and social man who loved traveling, the great outdoors, and his children’s and grandchildren’s homecooked meals. His family and friends will always remember him as a very kind, considerate, and compassionate man, and he will be greatly missed.
