Christopher A. Parrinello, 29, EHS grad, Hirschbach truck driver, karate black belt, loved food

Christopher “Chris” A. Parrinello, 29, of Manheim Township, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016.

Born Now. 8, 1987, in Plainview, N.Y., he was the son of Arthur J. and Laura L. (Petersen) Parrinello, of Millersville. He was of the Catholic faith.

Chris was a 2006 graduate from Ephrata High School. In 2012, he graduated from Reading Area Community College (RACC) and received his EMT Certification and was a member of the National Association of State Emergency Medical Technicians Officials (NASEMSO).

In 2014, Chris graduated from Shelly Truck Driving School, York. After he received his CDL license, he was as an over-the-road truck driver for Hirschbach Motor Lines Inc., Atlanta, Ga.

Chris will be lovingly remembered as being a very generous person. He loved his family and friends. He was always there to help whenever someone needed him, and expected nothing in return except a smile. He was always happy-go-lucky and always strove to do the right thing. Chris loved food, both cooking and eating. Chris earned his black belt in karate. He also loved driving, family vacations, hunting, upstate New York, motorcycles, and movies. He always seemed to have the perfect words to say.

In addition to his parents; Chris is survived by his loving daughter: Ava Lynn; a brother: Taylor Christian Parrinello; his paternal grandparents: Arthur and Helen Parrinello; and his maternal grandfather: Harro Petersen.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Linda Petersen.

Services were held Dec. 17 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lancaster. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Flowers are welcome.
