Claudine L. Murphy, 61, of Denver, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, in Brecknock Township.

She was born in Bristol, Va., to Betty (Dunn) Greene and the late Claude Greene and was the wife of the late Patrick R. Murphy who passed away in July 2013.

Claudine worked at the Bollman Hat Factory as a machine operator. She loved her dog.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepmother: Helen Hainley; a son: Michael M. Parkhouse; a grandson: Ryleh O. Parkhouse; two brothers: Glen and Danny Greene; a sister: Ann, wife of Elmer Stotlzfus and a half brother: Gary, husband of Holly Greene.

A funeral was held Jan. 23 at the Stradling Funeral Homes, Ephrata, with Rev. Terry Redcay officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
