Constance L. Sweigart, 81, Cinderella, Sharp Shopper worker, enjoyed carnivals, knitting, family time

Constance L. “Connie” Sweigart, 81, formerly of Denver Borough, died May 19, 2017, in ManorCare Lancaster.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ray E. Hornberger and Lila Mae (Gehman) Hornberger Horning Kieffer.

Connie was a 1953 East Cocalico High School graduate, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and worked at Cinderella Knitting Mills and Sharp Shopper. She cherished family times, enjoyed attending local carnivals and knitting.

Surviving is a daughter: Kathy A. (John R.) Weinhold, Ephrata; son: Richard K. (Amy) Sweigart, Dushore; grandchildren: Chad, Heather, Melissa, and Richard; six great-grandchildren; and a sister: Gloria Reider, Lebanon,.

A twin sister, Constantine, predeceased her.

Funeral services were held May 23 from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with Pastor C. Michael Roney officiating. Burial was in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Trinity U. M. Church, 420 Main St., Denver, PA 17517.
