Craig R. Becker, 61, Army vet, worked at York Hospital, dog lover, enjoyed boating
Craig R. Becker, 61, of Marietta, and formerly of York, passed away Feb. 22, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Ephrata, Craig was a son of the late Earl R. and H. Naomi Becker.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, and had worked in the I.T. department of the York Hospital for 20 years. Most recently, he was employed by Lehigh Valley Respiratory Care and WellSpan Health. Craig enjoyed boating and water skiing on the Susquehanna River and spending time with his beloved pet dogs.
He is survived by four siblings: Eileen C., wife of Arthur Leid; Karen L. Eichenlaub; Kevin R. Becker, husband of Debbie; and Thomas E. Becker; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 27 at Gravenor Home for Funerals, Ephrata. He was interred at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata.
