Dale L. Redcay, 60, of Denver, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at his home.

He was born in Berks County, the son of the late Selmer and Carrie (Hertzog) Redcay.

Dale was a member of Christ Yocom’s Lutheran Church in Reading, and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and especially loved his dogs.

He was a 1971 graduate of Cocalico High School and was employed in the cooking department for Bachmann Chips in Ephrata for many years.

Dale is survived by a stepmother: Grace (Martin) Redcay of Coudersport; a brother: Mark, husband of Diane Redcay of Coudersport and numerous cousins.

A funeral was held Feb. 26 at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Kenneth Redcay officiating. Interment will take place in the Christ Yocom’s Lutheran Cemetery.
