Deaths of Local Interest – Sept. 27, 2017

Ida O. (Sensenig) Martin Musser, 75, of Kleinfeltersville, entered into rest peacefully on Sept. 21 at home, after an 18-month battle with cancer. A beloved wife and mother of 10, Ida loved spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Springville Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). Her daughter, Louise, wife of Mervin Horst, lives in Newmanstown; son Jeffrey, husband of Janice (Martin) Martin, resides in East Earl; son Lowell, husband of Elaine (Martin) Martin, lives in Denver; daughter Joanna, wife of Jerry Hurst, Denver; Karen, wife of Bernell Martin, Stevens. She is also survied by stepsons, Marlin, husband of Mary Jane (Reiff) Musser; and Michael, husband of Janie (Nolt) Musser, Stevens; and Banks, husband of Lorene (Sensenig) Musser, Denver. A brother, David, husband of Esther (Good) Sensenig, lives in Ephrata; A sister, Ella, widow of Ivan Z. Martin, resides in Terre Hill. A sister, Barbara, widow of Elvin K. Martin, lives in Denver. A brother-in-law, Phares, husband of Katie Newswanger, resides in Newmanstown.

Mary B. Stauffer, 87, of Marietta, formerly of Manheim, passed away Sept. 21 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She attended the Jerusalem Church, Penryn. In her earlier years, Mary was an auction junkie, and enjoyed attending and having yard sales. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, and spending time with her beloved family. Her son, Merle, husband of Lynn Stauffer, lives in Ephrata
