Dennis J. Keith, 68, formerly of Adamstown, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at the home of his loving companion.

Born in Reading on Nov. 20, 1946, he was the son of Jean C. (Gehret) Keith of Wernersville and the late James Keith.

He was a 1964 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in Korea.

Dennis retired from Yellow Freight in Lancaster. He was an avid Phillies fan and salt water fisherman. He was a wonderful PopPop to all of his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée: Sandra J. (Sims) Moyer, with whom he resided in Penn Township; a daughter: Nikol D., wife of Ken Hall, Lancaster; a step-son: Jerry Channell, husband of Kelly, Brownstown; four brothers: Larry Keith, Hamburg; Martin Keith, Wernersville; Russell “Rusty” Keith, Leesport; and Jim Keith, Wernersville; a sister: Linda Werner, Wernersville; two grandchildren: Brody and Riley; and three step-grandchildren: Gaige, Kaiden, and Paityn.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at Lamm and Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.
