Dolores A. Laymon, 81, formerly of Ephrata, Air Force vet, USPS retiree, liked lighthouses

Dolores A. (Ream) Laymon, 81, passed away Dec. 9, 2017, at her residence in Mentor, Ohio.

She was born Oct 15, 1936 in Ephrata, the daughter of Warren and Bertha (Hart) Ream.

Dolores served in the U.S. Air Force, and later retired from the United States post office at Gates Mill, Ohio. She liked lighthouses, family beach vacations, puzzles, mystery TV, and spending time with her 17 grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her sons: Kerry (Linda) Laymon of Willoughby, Ohio; Derek (Connie) Laymon of Greer, S.C.; Robert Laymon, at home; daughter: Kim Sidorick of Mentor, Ohio; sister: Audrey Ream of Leola; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Laymon; her brother: Robert Ream; and her son-in-law: John Sidorick.

Memorial services were held Dec. 16 at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, Painesville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
