Donald S. Bauman, 78, of Reinholds, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Ephrata, the son of the late William and Edna (Stauffer) Bauman.

Donald worked as an electrician for Rockwell International, having retired in 1990. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to auctions, playing bingo, traveling and hunting. He also enjoyed carpentry work and had built a few homes over the years.

Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years: Patricia (Freeman) Bauman; a son: Tony, husband of Sheryl Bauman of Delaware; five grandchildren: Erica Wilkerson, Tori Lied, Jared, Jessica and Jamie Bauman; four great-grandchildren: Hunter, Jameel, Haley and Jordan; two brothers: Bob and Richard and two sisters: Violet and Loretta.

He was preceded in death by a son: James, husband of Terri Bauman; a brother: Frank and a sister: Lily.

A viewing will be held Jan. 10 from 10:00 to 11 a.m. at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Timothy Craven officiating. Interment will take place in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
