Earl M. Basehore, 94, WWII vet, retired building contractor, Swamp Lutheran member

Earl M. Basehore, 94, of Lancaster, formerly of Denver, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Elderwood Senior Living.

He was born in Hershey and was the husband of the late Marion C. (Collingwood) Basehore, who died in 2015.

Earl was a member of Swamp Lutheran Church, and the Rajah Shrine in Reading. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a retired building contractor.

Earl is survived by a son: Scott, husband of Cindy Basehore of Denver; a grandson: Brad, husband of Heather Basehore; three great-grandchildren: Mae, Elsie, and Annie Basehore; and a sister: Eva Swartz of Hershey.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son: Jerry Basehore.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
