Edna G. Weaver, 87, Woodcorner Garage worker, Martindale Mennonite member, quilter

Edna G. Weaver, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Lincoln Christian Home.

Born in Myerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jesse B. and Mary (Wenger) Gingrich. She was the wife of the late Wayne Weaver.

She was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church. Edna worked alongside her husband in the office of Woodcorner Garage. In her earlier years, she enjoyed vacationing in Florida. She also enjoyed quilting and spending time with family.

Edna is survived by two sons: Nelson G., husband of Joy (Stahl) Weaver of Lititz; and Kenneth G., husband of Sherry (Fox) Weaver of Ephrata; three daughters: Grace L., wife of Donald Weaver of Spring Grove; Brenda G., wife of Dale Martin of Stevens; Joanne G., wife of Wilfred Martin of Ephrata; one brother: Jesse B. Gingrich of Myerstown; one sister: Mary Witmer of Reinholds; 22 grandchildren; a foster granddaughter; and 48 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Sensenig; four sisters: Pauline Nolt, Gladys Burkholder, Alma Geist and Nancy Martin; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held March 19 at Martindale Mennonite Church, Ephrata. Interment took place in the adjoining church cemetery.

Kindly omit flowers. Memorial contributions in Edna’s memory may be made to Lincoln Christian Home, 1307 Apple St., Ephrata, PA, 17522.
