Edwin Doman, Korean War vet, school custodian

Edwin C. Doman, 80, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care.

He was born in Lancaster to the late Raymond and Martha (Grossman) Doman and was the husband of Hazel Doman, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.

Edwin served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. During his working years, he worked at Raymark in Manheim for 25 years and later as a custodian for Kissel Hill.

In addition to his wife, Edwin is survived by two stepsons: Ronald Anderson, of Ephrata; Richard, husband of Ruth Anderson, of Blue Ball; four grandchildren: a niece: Linda Zink; and nephew: James Deiter.

A graveside service will be held on Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. at Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery with Pastor David Ryan officiating, and military honors accorded by the Red Rose Honor Guard.
