Eldon S. Weaver, 81, Port Trevorton, formerly of East Cocalico Twp., father of 15
Eldon S. Weaver, 81, of Port Trevorton, died on Monday, July 2, 2018 at his home. He was a former resident of East Cocalico Township.
He was the husband of Grace S. (Martin) Weaver, who survives. Eldon was born on July 30, 1936 in Lancaster County. He was the son of the late Martin S. and Clara Dorothy (Stahl) Weaver.
In addition to his wife, Eldon is survived by two sons: Ray Weaver, husband of Elizabeth; and Levi Weaver, husband of Lena; 11 daughters: Marlene Weaver; Virginia Brubaker, wife of Edwin; Lavonna Brubaker wife of Carl; Marcella Brubaker, wife of Gary; Leona Weaver, wife of David; Ruth Wenger, wife of Carl; Annetta Brubaker, wife of Kenneth; Romaine Weaver; Nancy Zimmerman, wife of Jesse; Joyce Martin, wife of Loren; and Linda Brubaker wife of Curvin; 79 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters: Edward Weaver, husband of June; Carl Weaver, husband of Irene; John Weaver, husband of Marie; Kathryn Martin, wife of Mervin; Clara Aucker, wife of Melvin; Joseph Weaver, husband of Eunice; and Mahlon Weaver; a sister-in-law: Alice Mae Weaver; and many nieces and nephews.
Eldon was preceded in death by two sons: Luke Weaver and David Weaver; a grandson: Russell Martin; two brothers: Leon Weaver and Martin Weaver; and three sisters: Pauline Weaver, Dorothy Weaver, and Joyce Eleanore Weaver.
Services were held July 6 at Chapman Old Order Mennonite Church, Port Trevorton. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery.
George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Mount Pleasant Mills, was entrusted with the arrangements.
