Elnora Keath Kromer, 95, mother of two, Dutchmaid, Green Dragon worker, enjoyed embroidery

Elnora Keath (Bowman) Kromer, 95, of Stevens, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at the Gardens at Stevens.

She was born in Brownstown to the late Elmer G. and Mary Ann (Keath) Bowman, and was the wife of the late Elmer Henry Kromer Sr.

Elnora worked as a seamstress at the former Dutchmaid for 21 years before she retired in 1984. She had also worked at Green Dragon Farmers Market for five years. Elnora enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, reading, watching TV, and doing crossword number books.

She is survived by a son: Elmer H., husband of Linda L. (Laudermilch) Kromer, of Ephrata; daughter-in-law: Wanda L. (Willwerth) Kromer of Ephrata; four grandchildren: Matthew, Mark, and Rebecca Kromer; and Sara Grubbs; and four great-grandchildren: Ethan, Hannah, Brynn, and Abigail.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Henry E. Kromer; a grandson: Jeffrey Kromer; a brother: Lloyd K. Bowman; and two sisters: Luella May Mentzer and Jane Heil Sweigart.

Services were held Feb. 27 at Stradling Funeral Home, Ephrata, followed interment in the Lincoln Cemetery.
