Ensinger Scarborough, 86, Ephrata native, Ensinger Printing, Shopping News employee, Red Cross volunteer

Marian A. Ensinger Scarborough, 86, of Moravian Manor, Lititz, and formerly of Ephrata, entered into rest Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Moravian Manor.
Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Harvey L. Ensinger and the late Ida Remp Lilac Ensinger. She was the widow of Norman E. Scarborough.
Marian was associated with her father, brother, and uncle in the operation of Ensinger Printing Service in Adamstown for many years. She was last employed by The Shopping News of Ephrata as an advertising proofreader.
A 1947 graduate of Ephrata High School, she was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Ephrata, where she served on the flower committee and altar guild for many years. She enjoyed transporting members to church and elsewhere and also crocheting lap robes for the Red Cross, playing cards, and doing word search puzzles. She was also a member of the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley.
Survivors include a sister: Greta R., wife of Henry J. Roux, of Willow Street; two nieces: Cathy Witmer and Anne Bucher; two nephews: Joseph Roux and Eric Ensinger; one grandniece; five grandnephews; one great-grandniece; and one great-grandnephew.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Catherine Ensinger; and two brothers: Harvey L. Jr. and Clair R. Ensinger.
Services were held Nov. 30 at Steinman Hall at Moravian Manor, Lititz. Place of interment was Mellinger’s Cemetery, Schoeneck.
