Esther Faye Schlouch, 77, Bollman, Groff worker, Peace UCC member, enjoyed the outdoors

Esther Faye Schlouch, 77, of Lancaster, formerly of Narvon, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at Lancashire Hall.
She was born in Denver to the late William G. and Elva (Keith) Lausch, and was the wife of Harvey E. Schlouch, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
She was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Denver. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and being a stay-at-home mom for her son, Michael. Esther had worked for Bollman Hat Company, Groff Potato Chips, and Bachmans of Ephrata.
In addition to her husband Esther is survived by two sons: Michael S. Schlouch of Lancaster; Allen D. Schlouch, husband of Cheryl R. Clark of Lancaster, formerly of Harrisburg; a brother: Clayton Lausch, husband of Mildred; a brother-in-law: Raymond Ziemer; and a sister-in-law: Cecelia L. Lausch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: William Lausch; and three sisters: Arlene Groff, Katherine Light, and Thelma Ziemer.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Peace United Church of Christ, 37 E. Swartzville Road, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. William J. LaSalle officiating. Interment will take place in the Muddy Creek Cemetery.
