Eugene M. Auker, 62, Ephrata native, father of seven, attended Stauffer Mennonite Church
Eugene M. Auker, 62, of Bainbridge, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Monday, April 10, 2017.
He was born Jan. 15, 1955 in Ephrata, a son of Clarence S. Auker and the late Rachel Martin Auker. He was married Jan. 15, 1977 to Kathryn H. Martin, who survives.
Mr. Auker was a member of the Stauffer Mennonite Church, Bainbridge, Ohio.
In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by seven children: Duane (Regina) Auker; Doris, wife of Kevin Brubaker; Joel (Ida Mae) Auker, all of Bainbridge, Ohio; Eugene (Ronda) Auker Jr. of Hillsboro, Ohio; Clyde (Stephanie) Auker of Bainbridge, Ohio; Earl (Debra) Auker of New Holland; and Kathy Ann, wife of Julian Martin, of Bainbridge, Ohio. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren; two brothers: Jonas (Brenda) Auker of Bainbridge, Ohio; and David (Noreen) Auker of Port Trevorton; six sisters: Sally, wife of Alvin Stauffer, of Selinsgrove; Mabel, wife of Abel M. Weaver, of Mt. Pleasant Mills; Mary, wife of John W. Martin, of East Earl; Susie, wife of Wayne Wenger, of Tunas, Mo.; Lizzie, wife of Lamar Martin, of Ephrata; and Anna, wife of Thomas Stauffer, of Port Trevorton.
Mr. Auker was preceded in death by his mother; and a sister: Lilly Martin.
Friends are invited to the viewing Thursday, April 13, at the home, 2803 Muddy Fork Road, Bainbridge, Ohio, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 8 a.m. Friday at the home and 9 a.m. Friday at the Stauffer Mennonite Church on Brier Road, Bainbridge, Ohio. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
