Fannie Fisher, 82, Ephrata resident

Fannie B. Fisher, 82, passed away at home, Ephrata, Friday, Sept. 30, 2011.

She was the wife of John J. Fisher and the daughter of the late Ezra D. and Sarah Stoltzfus Beiler.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She is survived by her husband and three children: Amos B., husband of Hannah, of Farmersville; Sylvan B., husband of Rhoda, of Talmage; and Esther, wife of Ephraim Stoltzfoos, of New Holland; sisters-in-law: Annie Beiler, of New Holland; and Mary Beiler, of Bird-in-Hand; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter; three brothers: Levi, Andrew and Jacob; and three sisters: Miriam, Mary and Katie.

The family wishes to thank Karen, Naomi, Sue and Carla from Landis At Home for their kind care to Fannie the past month. Also, thanks to the many compassionate nurses from Hospice of Lancaster County and to the two church districts for the meals brought in to John and Fannie.

The funeral was held on Oct. 3 from the Mose Zook home, New Holland. Interment took place in Stoltzfus Cemetery, New Holland.

Arrangements were made by Furman Home For Funerals, Leola.
