Forrest “Woodie” T. Kaylor

Forrest “Woodie” T. Kaylor, 52, of Ephrata, passed away after an extended illness Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.

Born in Altoona (Juniata), he was the son of Carole A. Kaylor and the late J. Thomas Kaylor.

Woodie was a born-again Christian and worked at C&D Batteries in Leola as a shipper/receiver for 16 years.

He was a muscle car enthusiast and NASCAR fan and collector. He was a fan of Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved horses.

Woodie will be lovingly missed by his mother: Carole; two brothers: Paul L. Kaylor, husband of Arlene, of Lancaster and David A. Kaylor, husband of Sonia, of Petersburg, Va.; two nephews: Caleb Kaylor and Nathan Kaylor, husband of Melissa; two nieces: Kristin and Lauren Kaylor and three great-nephews: Joseph, Andrew and Benjamin Kaylor.

Funeral services were held at Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, Ephrata, Feb. 4 with The Rev. Wil Canfijn officiating.

Interment was held at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Township, Unionville.
