Geraldine A. Gelsinger, 78, Bachman Pretzels retiree, enjoyed traveling, live concerts

Geraldine Anne Gelsinger, 78, of Denver, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Hospice & Community Care of Mount Joy.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Eleanor (Imhoff) Bouder.

She attended Ephrata High School and worked at F&M Hat Factory in Denver, Dutchmaid Sewing in Ephrata, and was retired from Bachman Pretzels in Reading.

She is survived by her husband, Lester W. Gelsinger, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Together they enjoyed years of traveling the country and enjoying the great outdoors. Much time was spent at the log cabin they built together in Clinton County, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

Known as “Geri,” “Sister,” or “The Social Director,” she enjoyed spending time with her family, going to restaurants, playing cards, trips to Knoebels and Ocean City, Md.. She also enjoyed going to carnivals to watch live music.

Geri is survived by a daughter: Debra, wife of David Wenrich of Ephrata, and their extended family; brother: Gerald Bouder, husband of Margaret Neff, Lock Haven; sister: Sharon Ulrich, wife of David Ulrich, Ephrata; nephew: Brian Bouder of Stevens, and his son, JC; nephew: Davis Ulrich of Akron, and his two sons, Derrick and Devin.

Geri was recently preceded in death by a brother: Stanley Bouder.

A memorial service was held April 6 at at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Geraldine’s memory may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19140.
