Gina Devlin, 58, cook at Ephrata Manor and GSV, enjoyed beach trips, Eagles fan

Gina Devlin, 58, of Lancaster passed away on Feb. 27, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Ephrata to the late Ira Wenger, Jr. and Dorothy Simonetti.

Gina attended Ephrata High School and worked as a cook, which was something she was known to be phenomenal at. She loved working at Ephrata Manor and Garden Spot Village nursing homes. She enjoyed visiting the beach and mountains with her family. Gina was so happy to have been able to see her Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl.

Gina leaves behind her husband of 22 years: Michael Devlin of Lancaster; her daughters: Lisa Miller of Lancaster, Nikki Hornberger of Ephrata; stepdaughter: Maria, wife of Chris Gehman of Lititz; five grandchildren: Zackary, Madison, Damion, Luis, Brynn; her siblings: Suzann, wife of Jim Bomgardner of Ephrata; Scotty, husband of Jan Wenger of Ephrata; Pam, wife of Ron Stefanacci of Sterling, Va.; Angelena Simonetti of Ephrata; several nieces and nephews; and a large extended family; as well as her canine companion: Marshal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Tommy Wenger; and her stepfather: Geno Simonetti.

At Gina’s request she will be cremated and there will be no formal services. A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
