Glenn J. Weik, 80, U.S. Army vet, K-D Tools welder, father of two

Glenn J. Weik, 80, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at home.

He was born in Myerstown to the late Howard G. and Beulah (Shenk) Weik, and was the husband of Bertha M. (Fulton) Weik.

Glenn was a welder for the former K-D Tools in Lancaster. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by two sons: Rob Weik, fiancé of Becky Grove; and Patrick Weik.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Norma and Alma.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 12:30 p.m., at the Greenwood Cemetery, 719 Highland Ave., Lancaster, with Chaplain Nilda Roman officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Red Rose Veteran Honor Guard.
