Grace L. Pfautz, 97, Bollman Hat worker, Mellingers Lutheran member, enjoyed gardening

Grace L. Pfautz, 97, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born in West Cocalico Township to John and Ada (Ensinger) Latshaw, and was the wife of the late Elmer R. Pfautz, who died in 1981.

She was a life member of Mellingers Evangelical Lutheran Church, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with family. Grace worked as a carder for Bollman Hat Co. for 30 years.

Grace is survived by a son: Gerald E., husband of Hope Pfautz of Stevens; three grandchildren: Tanya Pfautz Pyfrom, Seth Pfautz, and Matthew Pfautz; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Services were held June 3 at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Timothy L. Craven officiating. Interment took place in the Mellinger’s Lutheran Cemetery.
