Harriet Mae Meyer, 95, Ephrata, worked at Brownstown Vo-Tech, loving, caring homemaker

Harriet Mae Meyer, 95, of Ephrata, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Maple Farms Nursing Center.

She was born in Brownstown to the late John and Bessie (Hammaker) Duck, and was the wife of the late Billy Ray Meyer Sr.

She was a member of Brownstown Evangelical Congregational Church and a 1938 graduate of Manheim Township High School. Harriet worked as a cashier for Brownstown Vo-Tech, and was also a loving and caring homemaker.

Harriet is survived by a son: Billy Ray Jr., husband of Mary Jane (Arment) Meyer, of Ephrata; daughter: Pamela Ann Meyer, wife of Frederick Heagy, of Myerstown; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Brenda May; and a brother: Raymond Duck.

Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
