Helen Marie Weinhold, 99, mother of two, worked at Skip’s Cutting, enjoyed word puzzles, embroidering

Helen Marie Weinhold, 99, of Leesport, formerly of Stevens, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation, Bern Township, Berks County.

She was born in Mohnton to the late Leonpolt and Carrie (Burkholder) Stegeman, and was the wife of the late Chester Weinhold, who died in 1969.

In her working years, she was a sewing machine operator for Skip’s Cutting in New Holland. Helen enjoyed embroidering and doing word puzzles.

Helen is survived by a son: James H. Price of Lancaster; a daughter: Nancy L. Bauman and fiancé Richard D. Fister of Stevens; two grandchildren: Cindy L. Roy and Paul E. Bauman, of Ephrata; two great-grandchildren: Nikcole A. Bryan and Michael G. Rodrigues; and a sister: Ruth E., wife of Charles Moore, of Shillington.

She is proceeded in death by both husbands: Chester Weinhold and Amos Price.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at 11 a.m., at Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery, 319 Wabash Road, Ephrata.
