Ida E. Wenrich, 87, formerly of Reamstown, worked at Cinderella Mills, enjoyed quilting

Ida E. Wenrich, 87, formerly of Reamstown, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, in Pleasant View Retirement Community under hospice care.

Born in East Cocalico Township, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Amanda (Lausch) Davidson. Her husband, Franklin H. Wenrich, died Oct. 24, 2012.

She was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Denver, and worked at Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver, and Weismiller’s Manufacturing, Wernersville. Ida enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, jigsaw puzzles, and time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving is a son: Donald E. (Judith Shenk) Wenrich, Manheim; daughter: Patricia A. Wenzel, Reinholds; grandchildren: Michelle (Christoper) Getty, Stroudsburg; Michael (Lori Volm) Wenzel, Mohrsville; Jennifer (Jamie) Boval, Groveland, Fla.; and Stephen (Rebecca Weaver) Wenrich, Paradise; and great-grandchildren: Rachel and Kaitlyn Getty; Molly and Gary Wenzel; Brendan Ryan and Jordan Boval; and Makayla Wenrich.

Brothers: Elmer and Howard Davidson; and son-in-law: Thomas Wenzel, predeceased her.

The funeral service was held Jan. 24 at Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville.
