Isaac S. Martin, 52, Martin’s Ice co-owner, attended White Oak Church of the Brethren

Isaac S. Martin, 52, of Newmanstown, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in New Holland to Nora Z. (Sensenig) and the late Isaac W. Martin, and was the husband of Karla L. (Snyder) Martin, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage.

He was a member of White Oak Church of the Brethren. Isaac was part owner and worked at Martin’s Ice.

In addition to his mother and wife, Isaac is survived by five children: Colleen, wife of Jason St. John; Brandon Martin of Newmanstown; Jared, husband of Trish Martin, of Ephrata; Karyssa Martin of Newmanstown; Tirza Martin of Newmanstown; seven siblings: Glenda, wife of Leon Weaver, of Ephrata; Eugene, husband of Rhoda Martin, of Ephrata; Janet, wife of Stanley Fox, of Ephrata; James, husband of Rose Ann Martin, of Akron; Charlene Mellinger of Ephrata; Jerry, husband of Carleen Martin, of Ephrata; and Randy, husband of Jody Martin, of Denver.

Services were held Nov. 5 at Bethany Grace Fellowship Church, East Earl, with Pastor Jim Eberly officiating. Interment took place in the Martin Family Cemetery, New Holland.
